Linear gantry carries the jetting module over the build box. This documentary photograph shows a black jetting head, several flexible lines, a rail-guided gantry, a rectangular build box and an even layer of grey powder. The scene documents the expected selective placement of binder droplets to join chosen areas of a powder layer; material, binder formulation, resolution and operating state cannot be read. Composition: Linear gantry carries the jetting module over the build box.
